These are the stories of the people who explore, serve, and protect New Lhasa and the surrounding sector. The sector itself is a Federation enclave within Tholian space. Most of the population of the colony returned to New Lhasa in 2373 after a ten-year exile caused by a Tholian attack. Some others joined as refugees from the Dominion war.
